Val Chadwick Bagley is a published author and an illustrator of children's books. Some of the published credits of Val Chadwick Bagley include My Family Can Be Together Forever, Gospel Truths from the Book of Mormon (Seek & Ye Shall Find Flap Book), My Little Book About Prayer, and I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has regularly contributed cartoons to LDS magazines The New Era and The Friend.

"I don't draw for fun, but it's fun to draw. I like that it's my job," he said. "I'm so, so fortunate. It's amazing I get to do this for a living."

Dr. Black, is a former bishop of the Canyon Rim 3rd Ward. He received his undergraduate degree from BYU and his medical degree and residency in neurology at the University of Utah. He practices medicine at Intermountain Medical Center and St. Mark’s Hospital.
